Lanterns

It looks like winter is finally breaking her grip on the land around here. We’ve been having temperatures in the mid to upper 50s lately with an occasional high in the 70s. I love the brighter days and the fact that it’s not pitch black when I wake in the mornings. I also love that I can feel that hint of warmth beneath the cold breezes. Summer will be upon us before you know it.

Plans for buying land out west are still in place and little bits from every sale goes into my savings account. It will be a while before I have everything in order, but that part of the “five-year-plan” is not being dropped. There are some places in northern New Mexico as well as northern Arizona that really appeal to me and just might have all that we need to grow crops, raise hens, and maybe even a sheep or cashmere goat. Time will tell.

In the meantime, Lanterns was a little late in its release due to one small error that one of my testers caught at the last minute. It’s listed on Ravelry now and buy using this link you will see the coupon code for it already applied to your cart. If that doesn’t work, go to Lanterns, and enter the coupon code Lanterns to see the cost dropped to $1.50. (I know the coupon isn’t very imaginative, but its been a long month already.)

What’s up next? More socks! I have 2 designs already on the needles and 2 others sketched out. I’ll be knitting as fast as I can to get them out to you guys. In the meantime, I hope you have a spectacular month!
