What a busy month July was! Between rushing to get a few things taken care of (they’d been far behind for a while) and the arrival of Tamara, things have been pretty hectic around the studio. The good news is that a lot of new things are in the works for you!
First up – Inhale, Exhale is the latest sock pattern to arrive on the scene. As I was knitting the sample, I tried to focus on the simplicity of breathing deeply, fully in and fully out. It helped me to avoid getting swept away in the hullabaloo around here and I hope that it brings you the same sense of peace. There won’t be a pattern release in September since I want to give my full attention to the shawls for Samhain and Yule. Samhain’s shawl is a simple crescent with beads and eyelets. Yule’s shawl will be a MKAL crescent with lace insets and will be great for gradient mini-skeins or any other special yarns you have. I’m already getting some of the mini-sets together so that you can browse through them. Anyone joining the MKAL will get a coupon code for those sets, but that’s not until December.
Even though there won’t be an official release in September, the Patrons who are at/above $5 will get a scarf pattern for Mabon. Everyone else will get that pattern for Imbolc.
